Brand History

Johann Jacob Heinrich Bahr was founded in BRAMFELD, Hamburg, Germany, in 1879 to manufacture automobile wheels and metal frames. Later, his son Max took over the family business and registered the Max BAHR brand, which represented the highest industrial technology brand in the world at that time.

In 1885, Mr. KARBENZ developed the world's first horse-drawn carriage three-wheeled car, and on January 29, 1886, he was granted the world's first automobile invention patent, which was later the world-famous Benz car.

Max Bahr became a member of PRAKTIKER group in 2007. As part of PRAKTIKER's dual brand strategy and product DIY sales holding company, Max Bahr continues to be a strong brand for consulting and service.

In 2017, ALPENS-Rhine GmbH, a German company, continued the continuous development of its brand and acquired the brand. At the same time, ALPENS-Rhine GmbH gave full play to its own advantages and engaged in the design of fashion technology products. It has cooperated with a number of crossover designers to launch diversified products to present diversified fashion products.

In the first year of Max Bahr's entry into the Chinese market in 2019, Max Bahr, together with Pan Yi Liang and his team, took part in China fashion week to create fashion boots for catwalk models and launch a joint series of shoes, further interpreting new models and new fashion culture.
